Cat & Kitten Shelter

Rescued and surrendered cats and kittens are available for adoption.  All cats have been tested, vaccinated, and sterilized.

Live traps for capturing cats for spaying/neutering are available to borrow with a 500 peso deposit.

Although space is limited, the shelter can accept some healthy, socialized cats and kittens to be adopted.

WE ALWAYS WELCOME VISITORS AND VOLUNTEERS TO PLAY, PET, AND SOCIALIZE WITH THE KITTIES!!

How You Can Help

There are many ways you can support Lakeside Friends of the Animals.  Shop at our Riberas Pet Store, donate, and stop in and play with the kittens and cats when you shop at the store.

The shelter is totally reliant on donations.  Cash donations are always welcome, too.  There is a jar for cash donations at the front checkout counter and you can ask for a receipt for your donation.  Donate through PayPal                            (in pesos)

or through Lakeside Charities: https://lakechapalacharities.org/animal-welfare

Another option is to remember us in your estate planning.

If you would like to find out about other volunteering opportunities, please talk to the shelter managers.

Community Support

We express our gratitude to local bomberos by providing them pet food. Additionally, we offer support to a dog sanctuary, ensuring every pet receives the care it deserves.
